Windows 7 disable wireless when you connect to wired network

Look in the lower right corner of the desktop for the Windows 7 power icon. Looks like a battery with an AC plug. Right-click on the power icon and a popup menu should appear.

Choose the Windows Mobility Center and click on it. You should see something similar to the one pictured here, although it may vary with different hardware. Notice in the upper right corner the Wireless Network box. The status shows that the wireless is turned off and the button allows you to turn it on. There is also a checkbox to connect automatically when in wireless range and a Connect button.
