Anti drop hack for warcraft 3

Is Blizzard planning on ever addressing the increasing amount of drop hackers in games? Please keep our Code of Conduct in mind when posting. Happens to me too, randomly; about 1 in 7 games. And in about 1 in 2. Where is your evidence? I agree there must be drop hackers. It may be also possible with any unit and not using build commands, I have not checked that yet. For Blizzard there are multiple easy ways to fix this, the easiest is to simply don't allow more than queued jobs per unit or better, globally for each player.

It seems easily fixable, but knowing Blizzard it'll take forever. Hopefully we can get some map pool changes out of this? So what if you don't press F2? EwigD 12 years ago 7. Apparently the hackers are more committed to updating their hacks than blizzard is to updating their game.

Intelligence and respect are all it takes to get along fine. Not a bad trade off, huh? The hacker who created the drop hack just released an anti-drophack. I haven't heard any reports yet about it though.

Even with maphack, the IsUnitVisible will return false. It'll only be visible if the player is legitly seeing the unit. If a player selects or targets an invisible units they can't click it, uh oh , then they must be hacking.

However, if a native is used, like SelectUnit, then they aren't. You have to detect when the player is actually messing with the unit. This will allow players to still target units with aoe spells. Furthermore, players will still see what other players are doing. Chaosy Tutorial Reviewer. Joined Jun 9, Messages 13, Nestharus said:.
